This calcination technology has low energy consumption, high output, stable performance after dehydration, decarburization and whitening, It is widely used in ferrous metallurgy, non-ferrous metallurgy, chemical industry, building materials (cement), non-metallic minerals, refractories, paper making, environmental protection and other industries. It has the characteristics of high unit volume, long furnace life, high operation rate, stable operation, high heat transfer efficiency and low heat consumption. It is an ideal calcining equipment.

Process flow of clay ceramsite production line

The production of ceramsite rotary kiln is based on the mechanism of ceramsite expansion. The temperature of expansion is carried out in the ceramsite rotary kiln, and then the ball is expanded well under the action of gas to obtain the finished ceramsite. But the practice shows that the clay material with good expansion performance hardly expands when it is slowly heated to the expansion temperature, and good expansion can be obtained if it is heated rapidly. Therefore, the basic principle of calcining ceramsite is that the ball should be heated slowly in the drying preheating kiln to prevent the ball from cracking, and the temperature should be raised rapidly in the high temperature section of the ceramsite rotary kiln to achieve the ideal expansion effect.

Characteristics of clay ceramsite

1. Clay ceramsite filter material has uniform particle size and high strength. The surface is mostly hollow. Internal network crisscross, not easy to plate, has a strong adsorption, long service life.

2. Clay ceramsite filter material has proper packing density, uniform distribution of filter material layer voids, easy backwashing, low backwashing consumption, small water consumption, small head loss, easy falling off of aging membrane, not easy to gamble, and no material leakage during backwashing. It overcomes the shortcomings of difficult control of backwashing and material running.

3. Good particle size gradation is adopted, with strong capacity of contaminant absorption and high utilization rate of filter material. The water head increases slowly, the operation period is long, and the water yield is large.

4. Under the same conditions, the filtration rate of clay ceramsite filter can reach 16m / h. The working cycle is more than 24 hours, and the periodic water yield is (800-1000). The practical experience shows that the ceramsite filter material has strong ability of sewage interception. It is 1.5-2 times of quartz sand filter material.

5. Large scale production, the price of clay ceramsite filter material is reasonable. In the process of processing and manufacturing, strict control should be carried out in all aspects of production, such as particle size, uniformity, gradation, density, acid solubility, particle shape, porosity, specific surface area, abrasion resistance, etc., so as to ensure the quality. At present, it has been widely used in municipal sewage, various industrial wastewater and sewage advanced treatment.
