Reasons for Blockage of Rotary Kiln

Rotary kiln is a kind of kiln that we are familiar with. It has a wide range of uses and contributes a lot to the production work in our life. Its composition is relatively more complex, so it needs more attention when operating. 1. Porcelain roller polluted

The pollution of the ceramic roller in rotary kiln is mainly manifested in the oil stained ceramic roller, which forms lumps of different sizes on the ceramic roller. Due to the improper glaze control of the brick, many glaze drops stick to the bottom of the product, which will cause the glaze drops to soften when calcined at high temperature and stick to the roller, resulting in different roller diameters, so that the products running on the ceramic roller are subject to certain resistance, and the products behind cannot move forward normally, resulting in irregular arrangement and overlapping of products. When the overlapped products exceed the high temperature load softening point of the ceramic roller, the ceramic roller will break, resulting in furnace blockage.

2. Unreasonable firing temperature and atmosphere

The temperature regulation of rotary kiln is to divide the burners into several groups in the preheating zone and firing zone, and control them respectively according to the upper and lower rows of ceramic rollers. The cooling zone is controlled by controlling the cooling air volume. In the process of adjusting the firing temperature, if the temperature of the upper part of the ceramic roller is much higher than that of the lower part, the products will have concave deformation; otherwise, convex deformation will occur. The former is more likely to cause products to stick together or overlap before and after production, while the latter is easy to insert between rollers, breaking the rollers and causing blockage. If the cooling belt is not controlled properly, the products will be cracked by wind, and the broken products will be embedded between the rollers, which may also cause blockage. In addition, when the atmosphere system is not adjusted properly, the products will deform and bubble during the burning process, which will cause the products to stack and block the furnace.

3. The "swing" running time of brick in kiln is too long

The control system of the kiln adopts interlocking automatic control. In case of power failure or mechanical equipment failure, the motion state of all rollers will be automatically changed to the swing state based on the power frequency, so that the products can move back and forth in the kiln, and the products will be deformed due to the long calcination time, causing the blockage of the rotary kiln.

4. Neutral firing

The kiln firing is continuous. If the brick feeding is not stable, the products in the kiln will form a gap under the cover of the ceramic roller, resulting in unstable kiln pressure and large fluctuation of temperature, which will easily deform the products and block the products.

5. Loose pad of ceramic roller

The loose and bulging deformation of the pad brick of the ceramic roller will make the roller not rotate in the same plane, cause the products to stack or insert between the rollers, and cause the furnace to be blocked.

6. Uneven arrangement of bricks at kiln head

The irregular arrangement of the bricks in the kiln head will cause the products to collide with the kiln body, deform or overlap the products, and seriously block the kiln.
